Three-tier Quality Control System for Food Safety

THC implements the Three-tier Quality Control System in accordance with the Food Safety and Sanitation Management Act by the government

First Tier Management

First tier management: Self-management by business owners: THC highly values quality and safety of our food products and upholds the three No's principle- no manufacturing of defective products, no production of defective products, and no outflow of defective products. Every batch of raw material that enters the plant must pass through extensive quality inspections and comply with quality regulations before production. During manufacturing process, audits are conducted to ensure the quality of semi-finished products. All finished products are only shipped after the final inspection and test.

Second Tier Management

Second tier management: Obtain certification from independent third-party testing institutions: THC reinforces the quality of its products by acting in accordance with the Food Safety and Sanitation Management Act and Food Good Hygienic Practice (GHP) to implement (a) plant inspection by credible third-parties, (b) environment inspection through the safety and health system and (c) dual management of manufacturing and product risks. We introduced SSC 22000, ISO 9001/ISO 22000, HACCP and TQF (Taiwan Quality Food Association) systems and established a food safety committee to promote and implement food product safety regulations and regular auditing. All defects are reviewed and corrected to prevent their recurrence. Not only does this maintain the ability to manufacture high quality product, this also increases our credibility.

Third Tier Management

Third tier management: Inspection and monitoring by the government. All THC products, which are produced under the 6s quality control standards of sort, stabilize, shine, standardize, sustain and safety, are wholly compliant with the Food Safety and Sanitation Management Act and other relevant regulations. As THC has great faith in our own products, we welcome and cooperate with all audits by the government and relevant agencies and process defects in accordance with the Prevention and Correction Procedure. In the event of major defect that requires product recall, the Product Recovery Procedure will be followed accordingly.


Meeting the evaluation requirement of all customers

Our customers include Uni-President, Coca-Cola, Vitalon, Taisun and Taiwan Tobacco & Liquor. The beverages produced in aseptic beverage plants is customized to meet the specific manufacturing specification and standard of each customer. In addition, we also arrange to have our customers to evaluate our OEM capability by conducting on-site audits. THC makes great effort in meeting the needs of customers during audits.


 

Self-management

All beverages produced by THC comply with government rules and regulations as well as the needs of customers. THC takes a step further by formulating food product safety measures and slogans in the spirit of relevant regulations. In attempt to uphold the corporate principles of trust, innovation, quality, service, motivation and responsibility, we are implementing the Food Product Safety Management System. This will be done in conjunction with effective communication, system management, PRPs and HACCP to continuously improve and prevent problems from occurring. We strive to ensure system suitability and effectiveness in order to guarantee food product safety as well as the satisfaction and assurance of our customers. We promise to:

This is done so that every employee may remain dedicated to increasing the production of high quality food products by keeping in mind the three values and two consciousness (attentive, detailed, responsible, quality conscious and cost conscious).
